Tobacco Leaf:

This decorative plate's design is referred to as the “Tobacco Leaf” pattern. The pattern is taken from an original beaker-shaped vase that was made in China for the European market. The vase is made from hard paste porcelain and is decorated with enamel color in a variant of the tobacco leaf or passion flower design. Tobacco Leaf Tin Plates should be hand washed. 10” dia.

Manchester:

This decorative tin plate is inspired from a Sévres service given as a diplomatic gift by King Louis XVI of France to the Duchess of Manchester, the wife of the British Ambassador to the court of Versailles. The occasion was the signature of the Treaty of Versailles which brought an end to the War of American Independence. Hand wash. 10" diameter.

 Pink Butterfly:

This design is from Manufaktur Nymphenburg, which has been handcrafting finest porcelain for 260 years. Porcelain services, figures and objects of the greatest quality and purity have been produced at just this one location in the world – the Nördliches Schlossrondell in Nymphenburg – since the 18th century.  This plate design in particular was most likely painted by Joseph Zachenberger between 1760 and 1765.
